I'm reading At Days Close, A History of Nighttime by Roger Ekirch. Its the detail of life, the fears, superstitions and habits of night time, before the use of electric lights. The details of candles and class and curfews shed light on some other old reads. Before that I read A Perfect Red - a great book.

A History of Nighttime sounds VERY interesting. I'll have to look that up!
