Attached is a word document that my son turned in for his homework. It was part of a family tree project in which he had to interview a family member about his childhood and then write it up in dialog form. I must admit that we had a lot of fun with this, and so did his teacher.

His teacher thought it was pretty funny. And, yup, he did get 100% on it. Wink

Reminds me of so many things I will miss by not seeing you guys during the summer this year sigh

It also reminds me that time does seem to roll on so fast; the time from birth to school, from there to major exams....and then to talk of work and independant living, passes at an alarming rate....and we age at the same time. I too recall being a skinny 23 yr old...and a slim 29 yr old when my son was born!!!! the rest is history lol.

looking back is heart warming, and yet anticipating the future too makes me smile...AND worry frightened remember me to the boys, and the quiet man. love

Cheerio for now...Vincent...xx

Wow! That was wonderful, David. How old was he when he wrote this piece?

Well, as the song says, he is sixteen, going on seventeen. Actually he's 16 going on 23, but anyway. I admit, I did help with the writing. It was sort of like CNN, a bit produced; Let's discuss what we are going to say first. Smiler

What a great memory for you two to share! That was awesome! I am amazed at the closeness that is hidden, yet obvious, in the interview. You have been a great father and are a great role model to him and the rest of us!

Thank you for sharing!

-Lew
