I wanted to drop this into this forum, and didnt know exactly what other category to place it in...
Houston has a fantastic group meeting every monday for gay dads. I went to my first meeting yesterday, and was very comfortable, and finally felt like I fit into a special niche somewhere, other than here.
It seems our culture (gay) for the majority, seems to be pretentious and self absorbed. Those of us who are fathers, have committed to giving to another person, without ever receiving any thing in return... (fatherhood). I am proud to be gay, be even prouder to be a father. It brings me much greater joy.
So you fellow Houstonians in the group... if you want a place to associate, there are some specific guidelines, but I was elated when I found this haven.
