A while back my 15 year old joined myspace and sent me an invitation. Naturally I was concerned, but he does have his profile marked private so that you must be added to his friend list before you can see his profile. And so I joined. I don't use it much, but it does give me the opportunity to keep an eye on him from a distance somewhat. Plus all my old friends from BJ's Pit BBQ and Pub added me.

It's quirky and slow but tremendously popular and kinda fun. More of a social blog or meeting space. Oh and I met Brian and Kip there and invited them here! Cool, huh? If your child joins be sure to keep an eye on it. You know there are wackos out there.
