First off, I want to apologize for sort of going off the deep end a while back about the issue of dating and relationships.

Every one of you who responded to my rants were kind and some even to the point and giving me a needed kick in the ass!

No excuses, I'll let it be as it was.

So I'm sorry for my negativity, truly.

Now the good news. I actually had a date last Saturday! It was amazing. The good thing I guess is that for the last month or so, I'd been back on an anti-depressant which maybe helped me get back on track.

We now have plans for this coming weekend and it feels very good.

All I can say is that I hope this works out but even if it doesn't, at least it feels like I'm back on the boat.

Just a little update to the original post.

In retrospect, I was so hopeful.

Reality has quite a different bite.

Although I did enjoy my date(s) with the person I spoke about in the first post, the only thing that has developed is a friendship of sorts. Well, I guess that's better than nothing.

Look, I'm resigned to where I am in life. I'm not getting any younger or prettier.

At least I can say that I'm pretty good with my luck with my professional life and have that under control.

As for my personal life, watching 'House' on Tuesday night on TV makes my week.
