Hi!
My name is Tod and I live in central Iowa,
USA. Looking for friends, dating and possibly
a managamus relationship down the road. Here, I should say, I'm a Capricorn. I'm down to earth,
easy to get along with, romantic and like to cuddle.
I was married for 31 years, divorced now,
and came out of the closet 4 years ago. I have
4 adult biological children and have 4 adopted
children who visit with me on Friday evenings at my home. While I am white, my adopted child-
ren are african american and would have to be accepted by a significant other.
While, at the present,I like to spend some time at the gay bars with my friends, I can be spontanious and surprise you with a candlelight
supper and a flower if you were to come over for supper and a little wine. Sitting and watching a movie and cuddling you in my arms, would be my ideal thing to do on a first date.

I decided to move this post to the Romance and relationship forum. It fits here better than in Getting to Know You.

While traditionally GF has tried to shy away from being a dating site, we have discussed opening a forum for such posts, so now seems to be a good time. The original reason for the statement in guideline #3 about not being a personals site was because we were concerned about people mis-using the site; ie. non-father types who are just trolling for a hook-up.

However, posts like this one seem reputable enough, and could be posted here, provided they remain within the Guidelines (click on Terms of service at the bottom right of the forums). At least we can give it a go on a trial basis. And perhaps we could meet a need in a cleaner spot than most out there.
