For those who are new or those who never knew, here's a simple hint for today:

When you see one of the little cities on the left side of the forums is looking all shiny and colorful, that means there is a new post in that category. Look and find the house or houses in that category that are also bright and colorful because those are the topics where you'll find the new posts, which will have the little light bulb by them.

Any time those images, cities, houses, light bulbs, are grayed out that means you've already read them.
