I was just wondering, is there a way to set up a message sent to me when new items are posted to the forums, or any of the forums? I'd like to be able to respond to posts when someone posts something. Thanks

Hey, Jim! Great question. Bill was asking me this too recently and since I'm still figuring out how some of the many many wonderful options this site has, it took me a bit to find what was really a very simple answer. Ah well, it's a big site with lots of options, so it's still taking us a while to figure out how they all work.

If you are on the forums, click on the "Go" button on the upper left corner of the forums. From the drop down menu select, "My Space." From the next drop down menu pick "Notifications." It's about half way down the list. That will bring up a window where you can select from private topics to forums. Look at Forums. On the right you'll see the word "Edit." click that and you can select how you want to be notified of all topics in all forums. You can do it by individual email, daily notifications, etc. It's easier than it sounds.

For me, I just picked all forums, "Immediate Notification by email." It's working well so far. Haven't missed a post!
