This is a shameless plug for my online journal (something about the word blog bothers me, but I'm trying to get over it).

Micah put THIS on the fridge, with just a little help from me. One of my readers then posted her own refrigerator poem in reply, so I had to continue the fun. I looked for the magnetic poetry website and found that they have a spot where you can play with These Magnets ONLINE!

Try it, it's a cool way to waste your time, but you'll want to buy a set so you can spend some quality time with your children in the kitchen.

Have fun! clapping

OK, so it's one year (less a day) later. A fitting time to resurrect an old thread, n'est-ce pas?

I was confronted by all those hundreds of words to choose from. In my current state of health, I was flummoxed. So I decided to play a little game. I would make something out of the first 50 words that I randomly clicked and dragged from the tray.

Go here to read my Random Rendering™, "Seep".

"Clean, but somehow sad."

Great line there. We have refrigerator poetry here on our walls at home too. Here's one that one of the boys came up with:

OK guys, someone join me in this, eh?

Choose a kit to use. Get ready to count because you can only use the first 50 tiles out of the box (no making sure that you get "good ones" Razzer ) and make it work. You don't have to use all the bits up. Just tidy the spare ones away before you save the poem.

I used the "Office" kit this time for my poem entitled, "The Glass Ceiling".
