Let's talk about sex, baby... or more importantly let's talk about hypocrits having gay sex in the dark while bashing homosexuality on public TV. I was torn as to whether I should post this on the news and politics board or on the faith issues board, but I decided not to poison Soul Food with sour grapes.

The more I think about this, the less I see Ted Haggard as a tortured soul in the closet and the more I see him as a money-making scam artist... but maybe I'm being unfair.

To add some interesting new twists to the tale about the Rev. Ted Haggard, apparently the leaders in this evangelical world knew about his homosexuality long before it was made public but apparently didn't know how to deal with it!

Oh my, this just gets better and better. I'm begining to think that the 'restoration' or de-gaying of Rev. Haggard is just not gonna work. Oh my oh my.

I have to say that I agree with Jon Sonego's take on the situation. My own experience is too similar to his to hang onto my initial Schadenfreude.
