Chief Bar Tender! Host with the Most! |
I am going over to Berlin (Germany) next month to participate in a workshop with other people from Spain, Poland, France, Isreal, Ireland... looking at issues around all types of violence and harrassemet towards gay people and their families in public.
What is your experience of this issue, have you had to deal with it, did you report it to the police and what is/was the attitude of the police etc to these type of events? Here in N Ireland, there are great policies around the issue, however the delivery of these policies on the ground to victims and the recording and investigation of such hate crimes, motivated around intolerance of different sexual orientation is quite variable. Let's here your experiences and outcomes. Cheerio for now...Vincent..xx "Every man over 40 is a scoundrel" |

Now that you are back, Mr. Expert on the Panel,
I hope it was good and I am intrigued as to what such a gathering was like. Do fill us in. I am not young enough to know everything. - Oscar Wilde |
