I don't want to shove anything down anyone's throat (pun intended), but I don't want to lose my job again over my sexual orientation. Nor should it be any harder for me than for you to inherit what my partner and I have built when he dies.
After all, what threat are we to straight marriage? You don't need us to sabotage that institution. The straight divorce rate has been skyrocketing just fine without our help.
It would seem that I am in activist mode today. I suppose it is needed from time to time, but boy does it get old. Let's hope I'll have the good grace to be more interesting tomorrow.
