Been trying to get my oldest son to watch LOST. He loves Stephen King and Alfred Hitchcock. Movies like Signs and the Village. I know he'll love this, but there is always something that gets in the way at the beginning of each season. Sigh...

And yes, I am hopeless. Perhaps it is wrong of me to want to include my son in my own addiction. I watched the re-airing of the season finale last night, complete with cheesy commentary via subtitles. Tonight we made pizza and had a little LOST party and watched the one hour intro, followed by the first episode of this season.

Was it good? Yeah, I think so. But I wish it could have been more. I like the flash forwards and the new mysteries. I love that Charlie's ghost visits Hurley. But damn, I hate myself that I am letting them do this to me again, leaving me hanging, especially when I know there are only a few more than a handful of episodes written thanks to the writer's strike that never ends.

Called Josiah to see if he watched it tonight, but his TV was "blurry" on ABC... sigh... we went through this last year. Gotta get that kid a new TV, and the first season on DVD.

Might as well face it, I'm addicted to LOST.

Is this a TV show? My nine year old has been enjoying the original Degrassi Junior High series. Good writing and a real ensemble cast of kids.

Oh, yes, it's a TV show. I wouldn't probably recommend it for younger kids. A bit scary at times and bloody at others. But for a good 17 year old boy with a taste for Stephen King novels, it's a great choice. Smiler

LOLOLOLOLOL... Woo hoo you're not alone in this condition David..We here in Ireland were waiting patiently for the new series, and sure enough there are more questions, but some answers.

It is I think the most original series in quite a while, and at a time or remakes and re-runs that is to be cherished.

Is Charlie a ghost, or can the Island do more than we think???

Cheerio for now...Vincent...xx
