Unpacked the Suitcase |
Hello guys!
I joined some time ago, but haven't posted my story in this new forum. I am 39...gasp 40 in 2 weeks so still young. I have 2 children Ian 17 and Caitlin 14 from my marriage. We were together for 16 years until 2001. I finally accepted being gay in the summer of 2001 and came out to my family. Moved out on my own and met Terry in December. We moved in together in July of 2002 and have been together ever since. Life is good. I still talk to my kids every night and they come over every 2nd weekend. I work in the hospitality business, have a great job and am happy with who I am. I am working on an MBA so I am pretty busy. I live in New Brunswick Canada and speak English and am working on improving my French. Would love to meet some other Dad's in my area. |

Glad to see you posting here Sean! And really glad that things are going well for you and your family. I know the hospitality biz can be stressful too. Kudos on the MBA work!

Hey Sean,
What a great wee insight you gave us...looks like life is going pretty well for you Sean. As for the big '40' gasp...lol. It seems to me that age really is just a state of mind and the number of people at our age who have happily started again and have had that falling in love...finding out how good it is to be gay and living with a guy feeling, is just remarkable. Good luck with the french and the MBA, and I trust you get to hear from other fathers near you. Cheerio for now...Vincent..xx This message has been edited.
