Just wanted to kind of introduce myself, I am from Muncy and i am a gay dad of 3 great kids I have a daughter 20 and two sons aged 16 and 8.Was in a great marriage until about six yrs ago when i decided i needed to be who i really was it was a rocky start for both my ex wife,myself and the kids but after the dust cleared the kids just wanted me to be happy as did my ex wife so here we are 6 yrs later and everyone has adjusted and moved on. I hope to talk to some of you in the future and it's great to know i'm not the only one

Hey, Zack! Welcome to the group. I am just a short jaunt down river from you in Sunbury! Similar sounding story, but our break up was about 11 years ago now and my sons are 16, 14 and 11. I've been with my partner Brian now for almost nine years and believe it or not, my former wife and I have developed a very good friendship.

One thing I never expected to hear was her saying that Brian (or any man) was very good for me. But we came out of a very religious background and had many hurdles to overcome. I am sure you can imagine.

Anywho, I've found my best friends on earth on this site, and yes, met them in person. From many different backgrounds, they all have one thing in common (well, other than the gay thing, lol), and that is a great love and dedication (I guess that's two things) for their children. These men here are among the planet's best.

David dear I'm Irish...in fact Scots Irish as you know, so ofcourse there is always beer in the fridge and more besides!!!!

Now I was going to look up Muncy on google maps...in fact wait a sec.... Ok, I see know, you are a couple of hours north of our founding father David, what a wonderful part of the world you guys live in. I have vacationed with David and his family in Northumberland..and can't wait to see the new place in Sunbury.

Anyhow, welcome Zack, you know you're not alone, and I am heartened to read about your resolution of relationships. Unfortunately unlike you guys my relationship with my son's mother is....difficult, if nowadays really non-existant, which suits fine bearing in mind what has gone on before...but that is history.

Great to have you on board, hopefully you may get to meet up with David and his boys....and just so you know we are thinking about a gf.com vacation....any ideas???

Hello Zack and welcome to the group!

I can attest to the cycle of life going from difficult/stressful divorce to everyone calming down and life finally moving on. It's been nearly 4 years for me (gee already!).

I live in North Metro Atlanta, have 3 daughters, 16, 11 and 6.

It is quite comforting to know that there are others like us out here in the hinterlands experiencing mostly similar issues with family, kids, partners, lovers, etc.

Hi Zack - another similar story here. I've been divorced about 5 years, and my ex wife and her husband live right next to me. We're still friends - family, even. My ex is very supportive of me, and even tries to set me up with guys sometimes. My kids are 25, 24 and 11. Only the youngest is here with me.
