I was a reading a blog the other day where this guy was surprised at how gay a work colleague percived him to be, esp when he thought his own gaydar was pretty acute. This made me think about our families...our kids. How do they view us, the way we talk/act/live before and after we come out...compared to how we think of ourselves. My son brought over some of my old books that his Mum still had, one was about wild orchids... AND he asked when I bought it and then reflected, " Dad how did Mum never guess!!!!" jawdrop

So just for a bit of fun here is a link to a TV site, there are a number of quiz topics but this is the gayometer, really quite stereotypical, but try it and then compare the % gayness with your partner..friends..kids if you can. Could be interesting and harmless albeit relatively pointless.

Funny... I scored exactly 50%, which puts me in that happy, well adjusted category... which I certainly think I am (hush, David)...

It's funny cuz I find I have very little in common with most gay men I know... or, maybe I don't!!! LOL

Fun little test at any rate... though I wish there were some answers somewhat more in the grey area than the absolutes presented.... hee hee....

Thanks, Vincey, that was a fun diversion... Big Grin

All the best,

Smokey

I don't know why I expected to score lower but 53% surprised me! Pretty funny!

36% here... I guess that confirms I am still quite the closet case. Straight people keep trying to fix me up with women, yet gay men seem to tune into me with their gaydar.... and yeah, mom knew but spent most of her life in denial. Ah well...

Okay, I finally took the bait.

I, like Smokey my brain, scored exactly 50% and am a happy and well adjusted. This does seem to be true. But isn't it possible that someone either low or high on the meter could be happy with his spot in life too? Confused

I think diversity within the community is a good thing too, of course. I know, I know, I'm taking this way too seriously. Razzer

Fun quiz though, my dear Vincent! Keep 'em comming!

David
