I'm not a New Yorker, but a North Carolinian. However, I have a son on Long Island, in law school. I'm in New York, 5 - 6 times a year. My next visit will be the week of Thanksgiving and then I'll be there for a week, beginning, Dec 31st with him.

Hey, George! Sorry it took so long to respond. My three sons and my partner and I live about four hours west of NYC among the rolling ridges of central PA.

We've got a lot of us in the Eastern US and we've talked about planing some get-togethers on a somewhat local level. It'd be great to meet you.

Oh, and I left a comment on your photo album. Also, I checked out your work. Very cool, and I fixed the link in your post.

I just went and looked at your Website. Guilford College, eh? I used to live in the Guilford College area, just off West Friendly Avenue. Wow !! Small World !! I still live in the Greensboro area, but live south of the city now. I own a house in the country with 30 acres.

I'm in the NYC area about 6 - 7 times a year visiting my son who lives in Lindenhurst on Long Island. I love NYC !!

My partner, Steven, and I just joined the site. We are in Weston CT - about 45 minutes north of NYC. We are regular visitors into the city and are desperately looking to meet other dads with kids. Our son, Harrison, is 9 years old and was adopted from Cambodia 8 years ago.
