I haven't been on the site for quite a while. My name is Tim, and I'm a single dad in a remote part of Northern Minnesota. I don't know of any other gay dads in my area. My daughter Madeline is 11, and two weeks ago, we wrote to her birth mother for the first time.

Great pics of you and your daughter... you both look happy and healthy. And, in looking at those pictures, I'm reminded of my daughters growth and I miss every year that has passed... from birth to now... I guess I just don't want my bug to actually grow up...

Too late!!! She'll be 21 in just over two months... yikes!!!

Is it too much to ask that they just stay kids forever?

And Madaline is 11 now? Wow, well, so is my Micah, my youngest. And my oldest is about to turn 17.
