Welcome to the group, Steven! I'm looking forward to hearing more about you and your son Jon.

My three sons and I live in rural central Pennsylvania. They spend most of their time with their mother, but I see them every week and we talk/email/comment on each other's blogs on a daily basis. As they age, I am feeling more and more a need to talk to other dads and learn more about how they keep the conversations fresh and the relationship strong when they don't live with their children full time. I welcome the advice and input.

Anyway, thanks for not remaining a stranger here and jumping in to introduce yourself. I'm pleased to meet you.

Welcome to Gayfatherhood. I live in the Greensboro, NC area. I have an adopted son...who is gay...who lives in NYC, now.. I have a 16 (almost 17) year old daughter and another 14 year old son, who still live at home. I have custody of the kids.

I have never been on the west coast. It seems all my time is spent travelling to NYC, visiting my oldest son and going back to visit friends in the Cleveland, OH area.

I would love to know more about you. Please share !!
