Having just looked at my "Recent Posts" (Recent? - Ha!) I see that I managed to hang around for a full two weeks the last time I "came back" - in NOVEMBER!! . Let's just say that recurring illness is a bitch and leave it at that, eh?

Right now, all I want is an armchair and a pouffe to put my feet on. That's a hassock or footstool to N.Americans, not the same as a 'poof' which would be one of you guys. I'm not into the kinky stuff.

Thanks, David, for the email. Goodness knows how I manage to stay on good terms with you guys when I'm away for so long. (I did have to ask for a password reminder before I could even remember which email address I was registered under!) In light of my last two "I'm back again" attempts, I'll make no promises about how long this will last but I hope it's a good long while.

Now's the time I'd ask Vince to crack open a cold one for me but I've got the first of five exams tomorrow and I need to be clear-headed. Not that it'll help.

Glad to have you back however long it lasts. And hey, staying on good terms isn't that hard. Just show up once in a while and we're happy. Especially if you brought a bottle opener.
