Hi Guys,
Well lets see, been a member here for a couple of years, was generously asked by the team of David, Dennis and Smokey to lend a hand with Gf.com which is a continuing honour and privelige. I work as a Police Officer in Belfast in N Ireland and have been in law enforcement for over 20 years now. It has been a great career, but there have been incidents which have taken their toll and retirement is looming...and I'm barely 44!! So I begin to help out in my partner David's IT business, work on a couple of ideas for books, am preparing a business plan for a new venture of my own, and continue to be the best father,boyfriend,friend etc I can be, to those I love and care for.

I am partnered to David and have a 15 year old son Conor who lives week about with me and his mother. It's not perfect, in that we would all like him here with me (us) permanently but he feels a responsibility towards his mother too, albeit that that good will is wearing very thin on his part too as the catalogue of snide remarks and failings on her part mouint up. I have just bought a home with David with whom I have lived for over three years now. It's and old Victorian pile that needs some tlc...oh yes and cash spent on it...lol. I have a great wee circle of friends at home and have just spent my second wonderful summer vacation over with David(of Founding Father fame)and his guy Brian and three boys. I really hope we can return the hospitality next year...or HEY we could all go crash at Marcells pad in Marbella ...lol

So thats me, pretty sane sorted gay guy, partnered,happy,lovely son with whom I have a great relationship....great bunch of friends at home and abroad...count myself lucky indeed. I do have strong political views and am not altogether sypathetic (but am understanding)to people whom beat themselves up about god and being gay, but hey we have a forum for that now....yipeee

Over my morning coffee (odd, you not being here this time, like you were for ten days!) and I get to be the first to view your hello post. I'd like to say that it's almost like having you here, but ah... you and your lovely David are missed. Yes, Conor too.

Folks, I hope Vincent didn't confuse you too much over the Davids. He has another one, the one he lives with all year. lol And he's a smashing guy too.

Vince, it's so nice to see you posting on here now that your holidays are over. Bit of a 'first-day-back-at-school' feeling? We'll expect loads of piccies of two happy families with four slightly tipsy dads.
