Greetings all and happy new year! I have been missing in action for a few months but I am back and love the new digs (yep, that's how long I've been out of it). I look forward to learning from and contributing to the group again.

Who am I? I am a college professor here in CT with two great kids. I am a holisitic health practitioner and designer in all my spare time! Being in touch with other gay fathers helps keep me grounded and eliminates the "I'm alone and isolated" feeling which can be so disempowering.
I'm thrilled to be back in the swing of things! See ya' out there!

Glad to see you back. Welcome to the new house! Heck, I'm still figuring out some of what you can do here myself, but feel free to ask any questions in the help section if you need it.

I'm glad to know that this place helps you feel less alone. That sort of thing always makes me happy that we put this place together.

Heck, man, don't worry about your absence, just glad to have you back!! I, myself, have been under a rock as well for awhile but really am pushing myself to get back involved with the greatest bunch of men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing here at GF. Wow... to think it's been nearly four years of camaraderie...

It's been a kinda rough year for me, and (I'm sorry to say) a rough few months for the bug (my darling daughter, Jesse, for those who don't know my nickname for her, since I've been so absent lately... shame on me... ). But, the new year does offer some hope for improvement - at least my baby seems to be her old self again... well, yes, she's nearly 19 but, as we all know, our kids are always our babies... For myself, I remain, as I usually do, optimistic about the future (hush, David, you're my brain so of course you hear all my complaining ... I'll spare the others from that .. hee hee).

So, happiest of new year wishes to all of our dad's and I plan to become my old, active self again around here... with the emphasis on old... LOL...
