Hello everyone!!
My name is Dean and I am the proud Dad of two wonderful kids. We live in Las Vegas NV and though I have had constant contact with my children for the past couple years (since my separation from my wife) but coming soon I am going to be blessed with actual joint legal and physical custody. I am really excited I will have the kids for two weeks at a time and even though we have a great relationship already it will give us the opportunity to have a real "normal" home life together. My daughter is 11 and my son is 8. I have not yet come out to them but am planning on doing so real soon, but want them settled and stable with all the new changes before being hit with one more thing. So any advice on the whole coming out thing will be greatly appreciated :-) Really glad to be here and looking forward to the support and possibility of friendship from GF.

That's great news about having more access and time with your kids. I like you feel I have very open honest loving relationshiop with my son no matter what the situation, but nothing beats having them living with you in your home. Coming out to them is important as much for you and them, but there is time for that.

You will find all the support you need here and plenty of experience and advice too.
